Today, I dressed up my Coral Reef bjd doll in a white swan dress.
The White Swan is a cute romantic tragedy.
A princess gets turned into a swan by an evil magus.
She falls in love with a prince. The prince falls in love with the Black Swan.
In grief, the white swan dies. A lot of romantic stories ended in death.
I do not like tragedy endings. There is too much suffering in the real world already.
Most romances end with the couple going their separate ways.
I suppose tastes were different back in the day.
Now, it is time to talk about my doll in specific.
She isn’t naturally a ballerina.
I just dressed her up like one. The ballet shoes are a little big for her.
It works fine. You need to look rather close to see that the shoes do not fit her.
This is more the pity. The outfit at least is a perfect fit.
She does look like quite the darling little ballerina.
I tried to get her to make a couple of fun ballet poses.
Her hands are in the proper ballet pose.
She has quite the steady body. This is good for complicated poses.
I am not a big fan of using doll stands.
At most, I just recline my doll against heavy objects.
They work just as well around the edges.
I tried to keep all the poses quite varied.
I hope that they make you smile.
