I made new ink art Based on sea slugs. They have such pretty colors. They are perfect subjects to be painted.
It is rare for slugs to be the subject of artworks. Most folks just paint birds and butterflies.
The first painting features a Nembrotha aurea. They are common in Tanzania. They grow 30 mm in length.
That was all I was able to find out in such short notice. Onto the next sea slug. It is called Janolus cristatus or Antiopella cristata.
It is common in Norway and the British Isles. The prefer clean, subtropical waters. I think I ranted enough about the sea slugs.
Now, it is time to talk about the paintings. I am going to talk first about the slim slug.
I started with the base yellow colors and then the background hues. I added to the body the red marks.
I added the colorful bum and its cute horns.
I think the little slug game out alright. The second painting features the other squishy slug.
I painted the background green in order to make it stick out.
I added the orange and blue tentacles next. On the bottom, I added some golden paint just for kicks.
I think it came out looking alright. I used pixiss ink and paper.
I also made a short and video of this painting.
