Today is a little bit of a mellowed out type of day. I was just not in a going into the gym type of mood. Then again, it is usually hard to work up the mood when you do not drink coffee. The last couple of days have been uneventful. We started watching the Dog Whisperer on Disney Plus.
We recently changed Netflix for Disney. Netflix is just a super of a bummer. Political propaganda aside, Netflix just wants to depress people as all. Even their feel good shows have bleak undertones if you look around the background enough. As far as original Netflix programming, I never saw something that was good.
It started well enough, but then the show changed because it had to have a point. I do not like things with points. I want things to be first, and foremost entertaining. This is why lately I gravitate more towards Family Guy than the Simpsons. If it has a point, then it is not amusing.
This is part of the reason why most of my paintings are just amusing. I could try to make one with a point, but I just do not feel like it. I do work up the effort for religious works. I made one of the Virgin Mary a couple of months ago. It was for my mother. She wanted one, and so I painted it.
The book project is progressing slowly. I am almost two books away from completing my long fantasy series. I am not the type of person to leave things half done. I think this is about it. I smell my food burning.
I hope you like my new birds of paradise anime drawing. I drew her mainly with markers and Sakura pens. The color lines were Stabilo fineliners. I hope that you find her inspirational, or something. I have been thinking of getting new doll clothing, but I must budget correctly.
