acrylic, drawing, marker, markers -

I made new Mandala art. It features some cute flowers and the whatnot. I used Grabie markers to make these artworks. I hope that you find this information useful. As before, I started with the center design before working my way outward. The flower one took a bit of time. I needed to think of what color had to be dominant between each petal. It ended up having an interesting look. The other mandala patterns used the metallic markers. They shine rather pretty when you take the photo with the flash. I like metallic patterns a lot.  There is going...

acrylic, drawing, marker, markers -

I did a new mandala drawing art. I used the Grabie acrylic markers to make it. I used purple and white paper. I wanted to see how the markers looked with a different background.   Mostly, I just had the purple paper around. So, it felt like a good a time as any to draw. I started by drawing the middle of the mandala. Slowly, I made the rest of the pattern. In the purple paper, I used the white marker. It was interesting to use that marker in the design. I also used the golden maker quite deliberately. I made...

acrylic, painting, pattern -

I made some cute mandala paintings. I used this mandala painting kit from Xoxo Craftn. The kit came with everything needed to make these artworks. It had the paints, the dotting tools and the stencils. It was my first time working with stencils. The results were rather orderly. The first painting was just with dots in a black background. The second painting was done on white paper.   It has cute little hearts. I think the painting came out alright. I made it with my mother. She doesn’t know how to paint. With the stencils, we managed to create decent results....

acrylic, painting, pouring -

These are the last set of pouring arts. It is going to be another week before I get around to making a new pouring art. I used a lot of leftover paints in the final painting.  When I ran out, I just added random colors. I added motion to the painting at the end. It looks nice. The first painting was a cascade of colors. I added the paints on one side.  I then pulled the paint downward, until everything acquired color. It is all a matter of estimating how much paint you need. I made a video of my...

acrylic, painting, pouring -

I made new pouring art. I painted it on a wooden panel. I hope you find it amusing. The first painting I used a mold to make the colors. In the second artwork, I simply poured paint in specific puddles. I moved the painting around with something sharp to make the edges. Once the panel was completely painted, I stopped pulling at the acrylics. I normally paint all the edges of the paintings.  This saves me the trouble of getting the paint to the edges. I think this is about it as far as my new art is concerned. I...
