It has been a while since I did pouring paintings. Now, it seemed like a good a time as any to try it again. I am just doing some refresher paintings.
Once I get practice, I will do a more focused theme. I used dutch pouring painting technique. You just blow on the paint with a straw.
I used my leftover paints to make this painting. Since the mixture was looking a little bland, I added a few dots of pure red and yellow.
I think the painting came out alright. I like the paintings better in their wet form. The dry versions sometimes experience little accidents.
Acrylics with lots of medium sometimes dries weird. I have no way of guessing how the finished product is going to look.
