I did a new video blog. The topic was still life. It is quite the underappreciated type of painting. It has an interesting history, nonetheless. Still Life are paintings of inanimate objects.  This includes flowers, fruits, objects, bones and jewelry. The first still life where painting by the Egyptians in tombs. The fruits where painting with “magic paint”. They were supposed to feed the dead in the afterlife. The Greeks saw these paintings. I made an Youtube Video about 15 things you should know about Michelangelo. He was a painter, sculptor, poet and architect. There were not a lot of European artist that could do all 4 well. His full name was Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni. He would write it as Michel Angelo. He wanted folks to focus on the Angel part of his name. He lived till the ripe of age of 88.
