Movie Review: The Seven Year Itch (1955)
Billy Wilder’s The Seven Year Itch is a cheeky slice of mid-century Americana that still manages to charm and amuse, even seven decades later. Starring the iconic Marilyn Monroe and Tom Ewell, this 1955 comedy plays with taboo, temptation, and imagination—all set during a hot New York summer when the wives are away and the fantasies come out to play.
Villains that Would Work Great in a Batman Beyond Live Action Movie
Batman Beyond is overdue for a live action film. For its first film, here are my suggestions. The first one is Spellbinder. He is a bit like a futuristic Scarecrow. He uses hypnosis to mind control people into committing crimes for him. He can also conjure illusions. A live action version of him would be quite amusing. He is also a psychologist. However, his motivations are a little bit more down to earth. He just wants more money. Inque could function in an origin story type of setting. Instead of jokers, Terry’s father could get killed by Inque. In the...
My Favorite Old Movies Made before 1970s
Bells Books and Candles is about a witch in love with a normal human. She does a lot of silly magic to get his attention. There is a scene that Harry Potter totally pilfered. A magic guy turns off the street lights while he walks, ala Dumbledore style. Holiday Inn is a musical themed after the holidays. Skip African American Month. It has 10 minutes of 1940s racism, that is sold as being pro black. How to Murder your wife is about a comic writer that ends up getting married, while drunk. He ends up resenting his nice foreign wife,...
Hollow Knight Saturday Night Fever
I did a new hollow knight fanart. It is based on Saturday Night Fever. It was a cool John Travolta movie. It got pretty dark in some parts, specially the ending. Since the lady dancer wore red, it seemed like a good idea to make a Hollow Knight parody of the movie poster. I hope you find amusing Quirrel and Hornet playing the titular characters. There is a video of this fanart in my Artsy Sister Youtube channel. Please give a like and subscribe. Bye, bye and God bless.
5 Favorite Animal Movies
The first movie worth mentioning is Dr. Dolittle. I found amusing Eddie Murphy talking with animals. The humans around him acted like he had a psychotic breakdown. The remake was not my cup of tea. Talking to a dragon is nothing special. Mostly, because dragons already speak English. Free Willy actually got a Mexican whale freed. It is funny cause the whale used for the movie wasn’t truly free. There was a lot of back and forth to get it released into the wild. He is actually still alive and well. Life of Pi or life of 3.13 is about...
