I took this photo a couple of months ago. I always like to take a lot of photos wherever I go. Depending on the security level, I decide whether to take the big camera or the small one. I have been using the same large camera for many years. The Fujifilm does everything it is supposed to and then some. I have barely used most of the features. I suppose I should just use it as a point and shoot type of camera.
Most point and shoot cameras are not too gimmicky. Still, I like a camera that has high resolution. You can do a lot of things with a proper camera. As of lately, I have been feeling a bit distracted. Today, I am going to go out and eat ice cream. It has been some time since I ate ice cream so, I am feeling a bit nostalgic. Last night, we went to a little party. My mother did not want to go, so we went with her for support.
Whenever we are around people, they tend to behave. We are party poopers in that rewards. This is only noted in certain occasions. Anyhow, we went on Uber because we did not know the way there. On the way to the car, I stepped on a rock and I did damage to my feet. I was only able to notice it later. I was sitting most of the time. The party was not half bad. Some of mother’s peeps are douches, but they are our douches.
We always enjoy whatever little adventure they host. They are naughty, but at least they are not malicious. I think the problem is that they see too many Hispanic telenovelas. We are actually seeing one right one. It is about a Sultana. We got a little confused because there were a lot of Sultanas. They were called so because they had given birth to a prince of the Ottoman Empire.
The show is actually pretty good. My brother’s girlfriend has been a bit curious about telenovelas. He decided to start her off with two classics. The first one is Mujeres de Arena and Dona Flores y sus Dos Maridos. The first one is one of the earliest ones I can remember. It has a lot of cool magic realism aspects about it. The main guy is not the brightest bolt. His mother was killed when he was little.
He was then raised by the killer, who felt bad about killing a little kid. Throughout the show, the main guy is slowly regaining his memory. This is noted in an episode where he makes a sand sculpture of himself, with his mother. The second show is about a woman who loses her husband. She then remarries. One day, the spirit of her dead husband returns. The rest of the mini series focuses on all the comedy that ensues. It is good to remember good things. This is about it for now. Tere, over and out.
