German Lady in a dress circa 1000s
This is one of the relatively newest drawing that I made. It is a German lady wearing a period dress. I think it belongs to the 1000s. Dressed like the ones worn by this maiden are known as Elven dresses. If you google elven dress, you will probably run into many that resemble this ones. Most elven maidens in the fantasy worlds wear the same attires. There are some regional variance. For example, I remember seeing elven maidens wearing leaf clothing. Then again, leaf and flowers is the usual attire worn by fairy people. Fairies do not get much attention...

The dates I normally put on these drawings are a bit of approximation. Most sourcebooks and books on the subject can only give a cursory view on each outfit. There was a lot of regional variations and the like. There are also costumes that are endemic to just specific villages. So, when I say, Czech you must take it with a grain of salt. This is another one of those chapter images. I have not made any new ones. I have also been thinking of making a new front cover for it. I am not too satisfied with the one I made the first time. I suppose I should try and see what other people come up with, and then make my own. Then again, I prefer doing my own thing. Anime Watercolor Chapter Painting for my Fantasy Book
This is another chapter image for my fantasy book. It is a bit of a work in process. On their own, people seem to like them a lot. I put a lot of thought into the chapter images. I first reread the chapter and the pick a scene. It is important that the chapter image intrigues people, but that it doesn’t reveal much of the plot. This is another one of my self-portraits. The dog was an American cocker spanial. He was the last dog I owned. He came around the time that my old man died. So, he was there to fill a void created in the family dynamic. My mom was visiting a friend at a farm. While there, she saw the dog raising a fuzz, barking all the time.
