Cool Statue in the Ambar Green
This is another one of my vacation photos. It features one of the many interesting statues of the Ambar Green Hotel. This is located inside the lobby. Behind it, you can see the open bar for costumers only. The fruity drinks there are really sweet. This has to do with the land in the Caribbean. The 4th of July ended uneventfully. A lot of mother's friends visited and I had to make with the pleasantries. Mother was happy that I had become such a nice hostess. My polite and distant persona is always interpreted as being nice. One of the visitors came with acute chubby baby. I spent most of the party walking with the baby. Today is fourth of July. The people in my home are going to sit this one out. Instead of going out to see the fireworks, they are going to throw a little get together. It is the closets we ever bother to get to a party. We bought a bunch of Cuban food, from a deli and mother is making white rise and beans. The people visiting are going to play domino. For the last couple of days, I have been feeling a little lazy. It is at times like this that I think on the last vacation that I took. It was a mixed bag. Most of it was good. The things I hated the most was the food. It was a bit like a slob tourist hotel. All the gourmet stuff were terrible. The only food that was barely decent was the Mexican food. The placed had more Mexican food, than Dominican Republic food. I also ate there, the worse pizza in the world. It was like a flat slab...
