Cool Statue in the Ambar Green

This is another one of my vacation photos. It features one of the many interesting statues of the Ambar Green Hotel. This is located inside the lobby. Behind it, you can see the open bar for costumers only. The fruity drinks there are really sweet. This has to do with the land in the Caribbean. Those who are farmers understand just how important the soil is. There are just some combinations that can only be created by nature. Mankind still hasn't managed to synthetize good, fertile quality soil. It is better to just get it from a different place, than to buy the store brand.
Then again, I do not know much about farming. I am only slightly familiar with it, because mother was forced to do farming while she was in medical school. They say that schools are free in Cuba and so forth. However, all the students have to pay for education by working in the fields. Even if you do not pursue a career, you have to rot in the fields for like 4 years before they get bored of you. I got out of that place before I had to do the boring farming. Farming is well and all, but being forced to do something against your will and not get paid is technically the definition of slavery.
There is lots of places in the world were slavery exists. Modern people in the big world are happy to pretend that slavery doesn't exist. It must be nice living in an idealized world. As for me, I think people need to see the world for what it is. Only then can you focus into changing it to your dream world. I suppose that sounded a bit like wishful thinking, but who cares? It is just all a bit of a verbal dribble. I am already used to my thoughts not being taken in earnest. Well, at least I can offer some interesting photos to look at, for those not fortunate enough to get around.
Lots of people are not able to travel the world because of funds. I personally do not like to travel at all, but I hear that it is something most people enjoy. As such, here we are. The thing I despise the most is going on a plane. There is rarely a scenario when it goes well. It was only in my last trip when the landing went smoothly. We had a lady pilot and she landed perfectly, even though the runway was wet. Admire the talent I suppose! Well, I am out of ideas for the moment. So, over and out.
