Fairy Box Painted with Acrylics

Windsurfing in Miami Beach
It has been quite a while since I have visited Miami Beach. Part of the issue is that the rains have finally come. It has been raining non stop for almost an entire month. Recently, a poor fellow died when struck by lightning. Florida has one of the highest lightning related death statistics. It is not as bad as the shark deaths. Quintana Roo Mexico Beach at Sunset
It has been quite the couple of years since I visited Mexico. It is a good thing I took a lot of pictures. Peace there tends to be a bit of an illusion. However, there are times when it gets really bad. The Barcelo Hotel in Mexico is known by the locals as the US. They say that it is the least Mexican place in the entire country. Miami Beach Landscape
This is one of my many Miami Beach Landscape photos. This one was taken close to sunset, beneath the shadow of one of the many Hotels there. Wherever the shadow falls, that part of the beach is going to be privatized. I guess it might work well for the tourists, but not for the locals. The hotels put too much faith in the power of outsiders and not enough on the business from the locals. Also, a lot of places like night clubs and restaurants depend on the locals for their business.
