Of all the music instruments I have researched, this is the first one that does not have a single vowel. How would you go about pronouncing that word? The thing is also known as the crowd or rote. It is a tyle of lyre. It was commonly used in folk music back in the medieval times in England. Only 4 historical instruments have survived to modern times. The name means round object in proto Celtic. The instrument still gets played today. There are modern reconstructions of the instrument. It has been a bit since I posted a new music instrument drawing. I have been focusing a bit on the manga and Doll Theater. I am almost done drawing the linearts and the dialogue of the new volume. Once that gets done, I am going to get started on a new Scary Cat volume. As for the drawing itself, it features a maiden wearing a nice dress while she plays the Berimbau music instrument. It is a single string instrument that was created in Africa. It is now more commonly seen in Brazil. It is typically used when fellows...

By pressing the buttons on the front, you can mute all, but the strings you want to play. There is plenty of debate as to who invented the autoharp. Two different German inventors patented the autoharp, around the same time 1883. One was called Charles F. Zimmermann. He patented in the US in 1882. The other fellow was Karl August Gutter. He panted his autoharp in 1883, in the UK. The one that most...

As the name states, the archlute is a perk higher in the lute scale and size. I thought that was a silly joke, or something. In any case, I still have more instruments to showcase to you. It is incredible just how many music instruments are there in the world. There as many as there are different types of humans. Now for a bit of history. The instrument was developed in Europe in the Renaissance around the 1600s. It is a mix between a theorbo and a tenor lute.  This instrument has about 14 strings. They are tuned to play...
