I did two new ink arts paintings. I was inspired in fireworks. The New Year is just around the corner. We are probably going to spend it at home. Even if we are not going to do fireworks, I still like to think about them. So, I decided to make fireworks with my ink art. I used black paper to make fireworks. I did a new Astarion fanart. This time I combined him with Barbie. I feel that he is the new Barbie of the internet. Folks just can’t seem to get enough of the elf vampire. I also feel that Astarion has a lot in common with Barbie. He goes on a quest against his will to ensure his own survival. He is pretty but feels self-conscious about his look. Checkerboard Flowers in Golden Glitter Background
I made a new painting background for my dolls photoshoot. I have been going through a bit of a golden phase. I started the painting by painting everything in yellow. I mixed yellow acrylics with liquid white gesso. This saved me a couple of steps in the development of this painting. Every so often, I added yellow glitter on top of the wet acrylic.
