Unlike most European princesses, she worked alongside her father for the welfare of the country. She was a patron of the arts, and continued to do so even after getting married. I first heard of Tardigrades through the documentary Cosmos: A Space Time Odyssey. This little critter is one of the many micro animals that live in a water droplet.
