My new pre-order bjd doll has finally arrived. I ordered him last October. I got him for my birthday. It took less than 4 months for him to be made.
This is nice. I got him during the 20th anniversary of Gem of Dolls. This meant that he came with a few extra stuff.
He was also a lot cheaper. I got him with a second dress. I bought the doll directly from the Gem of Doll website. I took photos of the Unboxing video.
I also did a Youtube and Tiktok video of the experience. The doll came in an adorable green pillow. It was nice that his eyes came already attached.
I usually have a hard time attaching the eyes. The eyes have an interesting shimmering quality to them.
You can only notice them when you shine light into them from the right angle. The bjd doll Carlos came with body blushing.
He is designed after the Tauros Zodiac. I chose the human version. It was cheaper and I personally liked him better with the black boots.
They functioned better than hoofs. I already have a goat doll. I didn’t need two. He is officially my third guy bjd doll.
He is about medium height. So, he is going to be able to use the same outfits as my other ¼ bjd dolls.
The outfit has a lot of small details. It wasn’t all that difficult for me to dress him. The body poses well.
He has stiff joints. He can maintain a pose rather easily. He is going to be the photoshoot next week.
For now, here all the photos that I took of the new bjd doll. I also felt like changing his name. His face looks like a Jeremy.
He doesn’t look too much like a Carlos. The ears are attached by magnets. So, that is interesting.
He also has a few hidden magnets on the side of the head. He might be able to wear horns, if I get him some.
The doll looks fine with and without horns. I think I ranted enough about my new bjd doll. He is the last new doll face you are going to see for a while.
I still need one more to complete my doll collection. I am getting ahead of myself.
It all depends on what type of mood I might be when my Birthday rolls around the corner.
My name is Teresita Blanco, the Artsy Sister. Bye, bye and God bless.
Happy doll hunting everyone.
