acrylic, painting, watercolor -

This is going to be the last acrylic painting I am going to showcase for quite a bit. I have been focusing a bit more on the cat book and my new Stop Motion Youtube series. It is a nice change of pace as all. For that reason, I don’t have time to make a new acrylic painting. The only missing item is the Canvas. I could make some watercolor paintings. I still have a bit of watercolor paper. Most of my paintings tend to be a bit serial based. I am always trying to build up on an original...

It has been a bit of a while since I made a nice floral painting. I just like trying new things around the edges. The floral itself is simple enough. I googled a bunch of flowers, and then I painted my own versions of them. The first florals I made had green backgrounds. As time went on, I tried other different types of backgrounds. I did golden this time in imitation of those medieval paintings. I just thought it made the florals pop. They are hanging up in a pretty high spot in my room. I have been making the...

A couple of weeks ago, I did a couple of pouring paintings. This is the other set of six paintings that I made. The paintings are in no particular order. The first one was made by adding a flat color of purple paint. I flattened the paint with a straw. I then added some colors in the middle. I then used a stick to make the little star shape. The final round dots were added one droplet at a time. I used a syringe to add the color droplets. The colors had a bit of water in the mix. I...

Over the last couple of days, I was looking up tutorials for pouring paintings. With the videos, it did go a little better than my first try at that medium. Since I was still practicing, I decided to do tiny paintings. I usually prefer smaller paintings, because it uses up less paint. With larger works, I start getting desperate, and annoyed. I had that first feeling about it, when I painted the Virgin Mary. I used my first big canvas. It took about two weeks to complete the painting. I even started to get a little bit nervous with my...

This is another one of my Alice paintings. I like to try to serialize some of my paintings. A couple of days ago, I had made a bit of a dud. I wanted to try to make a piece that was political or some nonsense, but then I got bored and annoyed. I ended up smooshing the colors with a sponge and it turned into some abstract nonsense. As such, I wanted to paint something that actually looked good. I was down to my final canvas and it was pretty big. It was then when I thought of the Rooster...
