Today, I wanted to show you a resin artwork that I made. I made this artwork in order to showcase the powers of some the craft supplies I got in the mail. It was an influencer type of project. The Gedeo painting I made it for STMT. This was the first time I had ever worked with resin.   I read up the instructions. I mixed my paints and resin in a little bottle. Once I was satisfied with the mix, I started with the underpainting. The instructions told me that I should underpaint the resin artwork. Once I got...

(Disability Pride Flag) Today, I got around to posting the flags I made for Disability pride month. I made three different versions of the disability flag. The other two flags are for bipolar and autism. I hope that you find my new artwork amusing and inspiring. (Disability Pride Flag) I first prepared the wooden panels by adding gesso to it. The layer of gesso had to be really thin. This allows for a smooth flow of the pouring paints. The bipolar flag is not the official flag. I just thought that it was an interesting design for it.   (Disability...

A few days ago, I got around to making some new pouring arts. I made them themed after the fourth of July. The first one features an American flag. The other two are based on fireworks. So, you can go look at how I made these pouring arts. If you are new to this blog, let me tell you how I normally make my pouring paintings. First, I add gesso to a wooden panel. I like working with a smooth surface. It helps the paint flow a lot easier. (Genderfluid Pride Flag) This helps me use up a lot less paint. It...

(Leather Pride Flag) Today, I wanted to show you the latest pouring paintings inspired by Pride Flags. I ended up making two Nonbinary flags. I lost track of which ones I had already made. So, this is why I made two of those flags. The other flag painting features a Leather Pride Flag. I added the heart at the end. When the flag dried up, the black completely swallowed up the heart. The pouring mediums makes the paints too transparent. (Nonbinary Flag) So, never add light colors on top of dark ones. The dark colors will completely swallow up the...
