Pouring Art: BDSM, Aromatic Asexual, Rubber and LGBTQ Pride Flags
(Rubber Pride Flag) Today, I wanted to show you the latest pride month pouring painting flags. It was an interesting project to say the least. I am always struggling to come up with a theme for my pouring paintings. I have the techniques. I just need to figure out what colors I want to add to the painting. So, in honor of pride month, I made these pride flag themed pouring paintings. I chose the flags at random. Mostly, I was looking to see if the pattern of the flags made a good pouring painting. Before making the attempt, I...
Pouring Pride Flag Art: Intersex, Polyamory, Drag Queen, Transgender
(Intersex Flag) For this Pride month, I made a bunch of pouring paintings based on Pride Flags. The first batch of paintings feature intersex, polyamory, drag queen and transgender flags. The intersex flag is the purple and gold flag. In its original form, it is a purple circle without a cross or an arrow. This is a relatively new pride flag, with a simple design. So, I decided to paint it. The polyamory flag is the black, red and blue flag. It has in the middle a pi sign. My pi ended up looking like a camel. (Polyamory Flag) The...
Pouring Art: Green Glow, Organized Swipe, Cuban Flag, and Magma
Today, I wanted to show you another four set of pouring paintings. I have gotten into the habit of making them on a weekly basis. The problem is coming up with a theme for each new project. I have the technique. All I am missing is a theme. So, this is what I came up with. The first one I was going for a tree type of feel. It ended up looking a little predominantly green, with some pink glows here and there. The second painting was done with a swiping mold. I painted the first waves before moving it...
4 Pouring Paintings: Pink Pastel Drop, Pink Swipe on Orange, Flower Mold and Pan Flag Swipe
Today, I wanted to show you my latest pouring paintings. The videos for all these paintings are already up and about in Youtube and Tiktok. I used wooden panels for these pouring paintings. The smooth surface helps the paint flow better. It saves me the trouble of having to dilute so much my paints. I took two photographs of these paintings. The first set of photographs show the dry paintings. The finished results sometimes look a little different. Other times, the variation isn’t much. This time I dried the paintings indoor. It was raining so I wasn’t able to dry...
Five Pouring Abstract Art on Wood Acrylic Paintings
I finally got around to uploading my newest pouring painting videos. If you want to see the making of these paintings, you can check them out in my Artsy Sister Tiktok and Youtube accounts. Unlike my previous pouring paintings, these ones were made on thin pieces of wood. I do not remember what type of wood I used. I had run out of canvases, so, I used a small piece of wood instead. Those woods were part of a craft project that I forgot all about. So, I used them for pouring paintings instead. I added a bit of gesso...
