Aliens in Video Games
The first one I wanted to talk about are the katamari aliens. They are chaotic neutral. The larva are usually running about in planet Earth fooling about. The bigger ones like the King are more dangerous. They may act benign at times, but then he orders the prince to block a meteor with all the countries of the world. The earth is saved but all the humans die or something. In the Alien games, the Xenomorph is mostly programmed to multiply itself. It weirdly reacts to what it perceives as a treat or potential food. In Stranded Alien Dawn, the...
Weird Plots of Fashion Games: Infinity Nikki, Time Princess and Life Makeover
These 3 fashion games are free to play. They have gatcha mechanics. Nikki and Time Princess has a standardized look. Life Makeover does not have a standard look. Her body can also be altered a lot, to a certain degree. They all have small sidekicks. Nikki has Momo the cat who isn’t a cat. He loves BBQ and he can double jump. Time Princess has Isabel, the fairy who gives you the tutorial and other missions. Life Makeover girl has AI. A robot that collects evidence for her and does google searches. She also helps with the styling. The Fashion...
My Favorite Old Movies Made before 1970s
Bells Books and Candles is about a witch in love with a normal human. She does a lot of silly magic to get his attention. There is a scene that Harry Potter totally pilfered. A magic guy turns off the street lights while he walks, ala Dumbledore style. Holiday Inn is a musical themed after the holidays. Skip African American Month. It has 10 minutes of 1940s racism, that is sold as being pro black. How to Murder your wife is about a comic writer that ends up getting married, while drunk. He ends up resenting his nice foreign wife,...
My 8 Favorite Monster Rancher Anime Shows
Monster Ranchers feature trainers managing 1 or a team of fighters. The fighters can be monsters, magical humans, demons or mechs. The first one is Digimon. Digidestines control digimons to battle against other digimons. In order seasons, they become the digital monsters. It is more or less amusing. Although, the quality drops from season to season. Fate Stay Night has a thin plot to excuse the battles. It is a battle royal of magic users and their summons. They are trying to get the holy grail that grants wishes. Medabots feature humans controlling little robots. If they win the battle,...
My favorite Fantasy Anime Shows
Claymore has 24 action packed episodes. It is overdue for a remake. Mostly, it is because the manga kept going while the anime show ended early. Do like Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. Just remake it by sticking more faithfully to the manga. Fairy Tail is just a lot of action. The plot is only there to move the characters between action set pieces. It is almost as long as One Piece. Gate is an Isekai anime show. Heck, this anime show popularized the troupe. Hundreds of imitators followed. Kaze no Stigma is a family affair among elemental magic users. It also...
