Silly 360 Shot in the Florida Keys
It is interesting the kinds of things that most cameras can manage. Most people leave the camera on auto and call it quits. It is important for people to get acquainted with the little M for manual features of the camera. Most artificial intelligences are pretty foolish, seeing as thought they were programmed by very foolish people indeed. Remember that Uber robot that ran over a pedestrian? Now the silly computer is like "I did not see the old woman coming". This goes to show that the US streets were not meant for pedestrians, when even a robot with 1000...
Miami Beach Building at Sunset
There is a building epidemic in South Florida. Everywhere I look they are gutting the streets and making new buildings. I would think it were dandy if I did not distrust politicians. Through building permits, the politicians can make a truckload of money for each building made. It is not the most effective way of getting money towards their Cayman Island secret accounts, but the fools here do not know any better. They should play Tropico. Their little schemes was brought to light due to the tragedy of the FIU bridge. Ideally, it was supposed to help the students cross...
Miami Beach Night Photo and on Handheld Cameras
A couple of years ago I bought a new camera, a Fujifilm Finepix. It had a times 50 optical zoom power. I bought it because I wanted to take night photos without a tripod. As such, I thought that a stronger length would work. It works most of the time. Lately, it seems we live in the shaky camera era. All the movies are done with hand held cameras. The issue with that method is that people's hands tend to shake. As such I recommend knee held camera, or head held cameras. When I want to steady my camera, I...
English Lady circa 1780
Giving it some thought, I do not remember seeing a lot of red headed women in paintings. This is in part of due to the general belief that the read heads were demonic. They also did not take too lightly to left handed people. This superstition still continues in the UK. Some families were even bullied out of the neighborhood. It's a bit silly how these things may continue in Europe. Then again, Europe has always worn two faces. Behind all their glorious glamour there is a dark underbelly that is slowly rotting them away. It has always been so...
English Chevalier circa 1650
Here is a somewhat old drawing featuring British knight of sorts. This was the sort of fashion that was popular in the British court. They would not battle in those outfits. Rather, they would sit and chat with their fellows about the weather, hunting and occasionally diplomacy. The rapier was also part of the outfit. It evolved from the Spanish, Espada Ropera. Original specimens are shorter, but extremely sharper. They can pierce right through a pig in one trust. That is how those swords were tested. Poor, pigs. Anyhow, the rapier that evolved from it, took on many forms. Most...
