New Background Christmas and Valentines Day
I did a new acrylic background for doll theater. The theme of this one was Christmas and Valentine’s Day. One half is one thing and the other a different holiday. Both events take place during the winter. So, it worked just as well. I left the hearts simplified. I didn’t want to steal attention from the roses. Above them, I painted a couple of Christmas ornaments. I added glitter into them to make them pop. The glitter was added right on top of the wet paint. I did new ink art. I am still doing the Valentine’s day theme. I started by painting the backgrounds. Once they dried, I added the runes using my silver ink. I did a new ink art. The theme is still Valentine’s Day. The simple rune is for a man to bind himself to a woman. It is a spell designed for your significant other to finally commit. The line in the middle of the triangle is distance. It is also a wind rune. This addition is just in case your girlfriend lives far away. I did a poll to see the couple that I would draw this week. The winner of that poll was the Pale King and the White lady. After looking at a bunch of paintings and movie poster, I settled for this little number. I felt like it would be fun to dress them up in other outfits.
