Miami Beach Revisited Colin Street
I recently went back to Miami Beach with my family. I used to visit the place often back when I lived in Hialeah. Hialeah became quite infamous due to the snow. It doesn’t snow, but the movie folks seem to think so. Anyhow…Since I live in Kendall now, it is quite a far away to visit Miami Beach on a weekly basis. The ride there was pleasant enough. You need to get there super early to get parking. We didn’t enter the beach per say. We had come there to eat at Manolo. We wondered about while digesting the food....
Manolo Revisited Foodie Travel
It had been ages since I visited Manolo. It is not that the restaurant got bad. Rather, we moved pretty far away from Miami Beach. It became a real pain to visit that beach and all the places around it. So, this weekend we worked up the energy to visit Manolo again. It was decked out for the FIFA event. At night, the place gets super crowded with fans. This is why it is important to visit it super early if you just want to eat food. We ordered the usual: hotdogs and pizza. Mom had breakfast. It was all...
Doll Chateau BJD in Pink Hood and Fairy Jester Photos
I took some new bjd doll photos. It features two of my Doll Chateau cuties. The first one is bundled up for the winter. She looks like she is freezing up around the edges. She tends to move her limps pretty easily. The strings are a little too tight. The wig is also a little crazy looking. I was going for a wild, cold look. Just because it is summer now, it doesn’t mean that it is not winter elsewhere. The other bjd doll is my cute fairy doll. I added a few pins for décor, here and there. The...
Barbie, Monster High and LOL Surprise Summer Fun June
Here is a nice look of my Barbie dolls and others. It seemed like something fun to photograph this month. Things have been pretty mellowed out in the real world. I am trying to finish the sequel to one of my vampire books. I am really close to the finale, but I keep coming up with nonsense. I am not a fan of leaving hanging problems. I will deal with it, when I deal with it. Now, let us go back to the dolls. I need to get around to finding new doll clothing for the cuties. I will deal...
May Spring Butterfly Photography
It has been a while since I photographed my butterflies. Well, they are not mine per say. They just live in my garden. This Sunday the illumination looked just right. There was also a healthy number of them clustered in a small area. So, it seemed like a good a time as any to photograph them. At first, I was aiming to photograph my zebra butterflies. Unfortunately, they were not in a cooperating type of mood. So, I photographed these orange butterflies and a monarch one that visited the backyard. The monarch butterfly was especially beautiful today. I was able...
