It has been a while since I got out of the house. There have been a few changes in my house.   I do not want to bore you with my problems of the real world. The point is that I was looking at my travel photos.   It is nice to look at them. I chose among them some that I liked a lot. These ones focus on my trip to Tulum and Chichen Itza.   Both places are Mayan ruins in Mexico. I went to Tulum a long time ago. So, I visited it a second time.  ...

It seemed like a good a time as any to rant about the last vacation I took. It has been more than six months since I went to anywhere that was interesting. It is fun to look through the photos. I wanted to rant about Xcaret Park. It is fun to look at one’s travel photos to remember. This Christmas we are going to be staying at home. The weather and other circumstances do not permit us from going far.   Plus, I am in a cozy type of mood. I have everything I need at home. So, there isn’t a big incentive to go out and explore. It probably has something to do with the lockdowns. Folks just got used to being at home all the time. Not that I was a big adventurer back in the day.  ...

Last week, we were in a taco type of mood. So, we went to Cantina Catrina in Dadeland Mall. This restaurant is themed after Dia de lost Muertos. It has a lot of colorful skull people figurines in key locations.   I took a photo of their décor for you to admire. At the end of the day, the food is the most important thing to seek in a restaurant. We got a chip appetizer. My mother had a margarita and my brother a Virgin Pina Colada.   I had a soda. I ordered Quesadillas, and my family had tacos....
