Logan’s Roadhouse Restaurant Travel Tourism Foodie Blog
I was vacationing in Kissimmee with my family. We had just gotten out of the hotel pool when the great hunger fell upon us. We googled restaurants that were near our hotel. After looking at the menu, we decided to visit Logan’s Roadhouse. The place was pretty packed, but thankfully we got seated quickly. This is one of the advantages of traveling with a small party of three. The restaurant was nicely decorated. It went ham as far as patriotism Wall Art décor. When we got seated, we had a general idea of what we wanted to order. I took...
New Year in Universal Orlando Happy 2023
This weekend I went to Universal Orlando with my mom and my brother. We thought we were going to have the park to ourselves. Turns out we were wrong. We started the trip on Friday, in order to be inside the park on Saturday. It took us about 6 hours to get to our Hotel in Kissimmee. There was a lot of traffic, and all the rest stops were full. This was but a hint of what was to come. I am not going to rant about the hotel. That is a topic for a different blog. Once we were...
Mel Fisher Maritime Heritage Society Museum in Key West Travel Blog
I was down in Key West when I saw this cool looking Maritime Museum. I was on vacation with my family, and we were looking for something educational to do. The entrance of the Museum alone provides a few interesting things to look at. The willow trees are impressive. There is also a chicken family hiding inside one of the bushes. You can hear the sound of the little chicks chirping. It is really cute. I took a photograph of the current admission costs. You can pay with a credit card, which is ideal for people who live off points....
Duval Street, Key West Tourism
This week I went with my family to Key West. We needed to unwind, and the hotel we like was 40 percent off. Once we settled down, we drove to Duval Street. The parking situation is somewhat peculiar, but manageable. If you know how to parallel park, then you won’t have a problem. Remember your three points. You are going to need them when you accidently hit the car that is parked behind you. As far as public transportation, there is the regular bus, a train and a trolley. All cost money. When we went to ride the trolley, we...
Chesapeake Resort Second Visit Review
At the last moment, we got an offer to stay at this resort for one night for 200 bucks. It seemed like too much of a sweet deal to pass up, so we drove down to Islamorada. We had already been there before, so there aren’t that many new things for me to tell you about. This time they gave us a room with a door that closed. So, that was an improvement from the last visit. We spent the entire time in the pool. There was a floater that someone had left behind. We used it for a...
