It had been almost an entire month since I got out of the house. After analyzing our options, we decided to visit one of our favorite restaurants, Manolo.

I mostly like going there for the desserts. I was getting tired of ordering donuts. There is literally no good restaurant near where I live.

Whenever we have to go buy supplies, it is always a cutscene event. Moving along, so, we got on the car, and we drove to Miami Beach.

There was a lot of traffic from Kendall to Miami Beach. They were having a boat show. Thankfully, the show was taking place far away from the restaurant we wanted to visit.

Still, there was traffic at certain intersections. The population of Miami is increasing at an exponential rate. We are getting thousands of people from California, New York, Puerto Rico and Cuba.

As for Miami Beach, there were a few broken buildings here and there. It almost seems as if the place is falling apart in certain sectors.

I blame the Hurricanes. We ended up having to park a little far away from the restaurant. The nearest parking lot was full. Winter has officially left South Florida.

It was hot and sunny. The weather was absolutely perfect. The restaurant itself was packed. We were only able to get a seat near the bathroom.

This works just as well for me. I don’t care where I sit as long as the waiter is fast and pleasant.

The service progressed at a speedy pace. We didn’t have to wait long for any of our meals. Above, you can see the photographs of the food we had.

I like that the menu has photos of the food. It makes deciding what to get a lot easier.

I had pizza, my brother a croissant sandwich, and mother had something that I can’t recall what it was call.

The photo is there, so you can just show it to the waiter when you visit. At the end of the meal, we ordered a bunch of desserts to take home.

The days when I was able to eat the entire world are long gone, but not from lack of trying. My stomach has shrunk over the years, thanks to my “diet”.

I have been making significant progress by reducing the size of my portions. I ate half the pizza, and the rest I took home.

I think I ranted enough about Manolo for one day. If you are ever in Miami Beach, do give that place a visit.

The restaurant has a bakery segmented from the main restaurant. So, you can just order the pastries and the ice cream, before continuing on you way.

This is Teresita Blanco, the Artsy Sister. Bye, bye and God Bless.
