This weekend I went to Flanigan’s with my family. It had been a while since we ate a restaurant. I have been trying to eat at different places.

Variety is the spice of life. We went a little early because we were starving. Despite arriving early, there was a bit of a line.

We could have sat immediately outside, but we wanted to eat inside the restaurant. It was a little too windy, and chilly to eat in the outdoors.

The waitress we got was attentive, and good natured. We ordered garlic breads and mozzarella sticks as appetizers. Both were truly yummy. For a main course, I had fried shrimp, while my family had BBQ ribs.

We got so overstuffed between the main course and the appetizer. So, we took the desserts home. I took with me a dulce the leche cheesecake and brother had the Key Lime Pie.

He usually shares the Key Lime Pie with our mother. The entire meal with the drinks was 100 bucks. This is a pretty good deal considering this economy.

Everything that uses eggs have experienced a price increase. The ambience of the place was good, as well as the music.

There were even a few folks singing at the bar. I think I ranted enough about my dining experience.

If you are ever in Kendall, do give with Flanigan’s a visit. This is Teresita Blanco, the Artsy Sister. Bye, bye and God bless.
