Acrylic Pouring: Dutch Art in Blue, Yellow and Red
I made two new pouring painting. I used the Dutch pouring painting technique. I photographed two painting details. I also made a video for both my Artsy Sister Tiktok and Youtube channels. Hollow Knight Bonus Fanart Quirrel, Quarrel, Squirrel and Barrel
This is a silly little fanart I came up with today. It is a play on Quirrel’s name. I stared by changing a letter. Then, I added one. By the end, I ran out of ideas. So, I made him a Barrel. It is just these types of silly little things that keep me up at night. I didn’t want to do just another play on what the characters say. I especially like Quirrel in his squirrel form. Leftover Dutch Pour in Red and Gold
It has been a while since I did pouring paintings. Now, it seemed like a good a time as any to try it again. I am just doing some refresher paintings. Once I get practice, I will do a more focused theme. I used dutch pouring painting technique. You just blow on the paint with a straw. I used my leftover paints to make this painting. Hollow Knight Magic Zote Fanart
I did a new Hollow knight fanart. It is a parody of the Magic Mike movie poster. In this version, it is Magic Zote. I was originally going to have one of the nailmasters in the mix. However, it ruined the balance. So, I just surrounded Zote the Mighty with a bunch of skinny guys. I think it balances the composition. I did a poll to choose the theme of this week’s fanart.
