Artsy Sister's Top 5 Favorite Painters
Today, I wanted to write about my favorite painters. Every artist has a favorite painter or two. My favorite painters may not be the same as yours. One’s favorite painter is a reflection of what we consider good art. They also represent what type of art we aspire to create. Without any more preambles, I am going to list my five favorite painters, and the reasons why I find their art so appealing. I chose five painters because there is not one particular artist that I consider the best that there ever was. I like the artworks of these painters...
Hollow Knight American Gothic Parody
I recently finished drawing a new Scary Cat volume. I decided to relax by drawing a fanart of one of my favorite games. IT is easy to draw Hollow Knight characters due to their simple design, and unique charm. I chose American Gothic as the theme. I thought that it would be fun to do an art parody using Hollow Knight characters. The drawing was made with markers and coloring pencils. I added the side-by-side comparison for you to see what the original looks like. This is just for the folks not familiar with this famous painting. This is Teresita...
Who Wore it Best? BJD Wig Edition
Today, I felt like doing a new bjd doll photoshoot. The theme of this one was wigs. I have about 13 wigs, that can fit five of my dolls. The ballerina and vampire dolls are dollmore. The goat doll is Doll Chateau. The cat doll is dearmine, while the elf doll is Dream Valley. The first thing I did was decide the background. I chose a background that was mostly white, in order for the black and brown wings to stand out. Since the photos were going to be portraits, I wasn’t too fussy about the carpet. I didn’t...
Margaritaville Universals City Walk Foodie Travel
This New Year we went to Universals Orlando. When night fell, we started to get particularly hungry. So, we went to the restaurant that mother suggested. She is partial for Margaritaville. The restaurant was naturally crowded, so we had to wait to get seated. I took a few photos of the interior décor. The place was themed after beach life. There was a section that had a lot of hanging shark statues. All those sharks are pretty common in the waters of South Florida. Once we were finally seated, we browsed through the menu. I was pleased by the...
Staybridge Suites Travel Tourism Review
I was up in Kissimmee with my family. We were going to Universal’s Orlando. Since we needed a place to stay, we chose Staybridge Suites. We had been staying in that hotel, since the 2000s. Back then, it had a different name and Jesters for decorations. It was interesting to see how much the place had changed. Other than removing the Jesters, the hotel was pretty much the same. We chose a two-bedroom suite. It came with a real fridge and a stove. It was the biggest apartment they had. It was worth 300 bucks a night. We only stayed...
