Today, I was in the mood to make a painting parody, using Hollow Knight characters. I chose an easily recognizable painting: The Girl with a Pearl Earring by Jan Vermeer. Hornet seemed like the perfect character to embody this maiden. Both have a certain fragility about them, but also a source of inner strength. It was interesting reworking the turban for her horns. Today, I wanted to show you some nice acrylic pouring paintings that I made. Each painting features a unique pouring method. I like to keep things quite varied. My paints are a weird mix of everything. Whenever I am almost done with an old paint tube, I throw it inside a ketchup bottle. I add some pouring medium, and then it is good to go.
