Today, I did a new Hollow Knight fanart. It is a parody of the Pulp Fiction movie poster. Instead of Pulp Fiction, I called it Bug Fiction. I was between using Emilitia or Hornet for this cover. I ended up settling for Emilitia.   She is a bit of a troll. She seems like the type of woman that would playfully torment the underlings of her rich, gangster husband. Once I chose the character, all that was left was to make the drawing. Despite looking simple, it was pretty difficult to execute.   There is a lot of foreshortening in...

Today, I did a new Hollow Knight fanart. In the spirit of Halloween, I decided to do a Beetlejuice spoof. I cannot write that name a third time. So, I have to be careful. This movie is one of my favorites. I rewatch it whenever it is on. If you asked me what was the name of the couple, I wouldn’t be able to tell you.   The only name I remember is the one of the titular character. Then again, he is the only interesting person in the movie. To play this character, I chose the Collector. I fancy...

I got around to making a new Hollow knight fanart. This one is a painting parody of a Norman Rockwell painting. It is not a well-known work, but I like it. It features a boy reading an adventure book. He is imagining himself as the knight with the beautiful princess. In my version, Zote got into Gretta’s library. He is reading all the weird fanfictions she wrote about him. Listening to him read is the Grimmchild. As a little child, he likes to listen to someone reading while he falls asleep. He finds Zote’s grumpy voice extremely soothing. As for...

Today, I felt like making a new Hollow Knight painting fanart. I chose to do Britto because I like his art style. I think it would combine well with the Hollow Knight Aesthetics. Hollow Knight is a very grey game. I wanted to see how the Grey Mourner Ze’mer and the Traitor’s Child would look like with a bit of color. Both characters within the game have grey colors. Their backstory is pretty depressing. They were lovers that were not allowed to be together. The traitor’s child is eventually killed. Ze’mer is left completely by herself to mourn the loss...

I got around to making a new Hollow Knight parody. In this one, I am making a reference to a famous Arthur Sarnoff painting. It is called Scratched at Dawn. The wife of one of the dogs went to pick up her husband at the bar. He has been playing Pool for far too long. He has work tomorrow. The bulldog’s wife is holding up her umbrella menacingly, while she pulls at his dog ear. The other dogs at the bar are laughing. They find it amusing that such a big bulldog is getting pushed around by a poodle.  ...
