Acrylic Background Imperfect Blue Symmetry
Today, I finished painting this background for doll theater. I started by painting eight white circles with white gesso. The rest I painted a light baby blue. Once it dried, I spayed some white ink to add a point of interest. This was just to randomize some of the blue patterns. I left the painting drying for an entire day. I did two new ink arts paintings. I was inspired in fireworks. The New Year is just around the corner. We are probably going to spend it at home. Even if we are not going to do fireworks, I still like to think about them. So, I decided to make fireworks with my ink art. I used black paper to make fireworks. It had been a while since I did floral photography. So, I left my house in search of inspiration. There really are not a lot of good places to photograph flowers. A few days later, my folks visited the local Home Depot. I figured that they had flowers. So, I went to photograph that. Most of them were slim pickings. It is the winter season after all. Ringdoll BJD Ange in 20 Different Outfits
I painted a new background for my photoshoots. This doesn’t matter too much for small dolls like this one. You cannot fully grasp the change. I need to paint smaller prop sets for small dolls.
