photo, thank you -

To commemorate the three year anniversary of Artsy Sister, I thought I would take a moment to thank, my costumers, my followers, my friends and family for all your support. I would not have made it this far without your help. This handwritten note is only a small fraction of the amount of gratitude I have for you all. I hope you can continue helping me grow, so that I might continue writing new books and comics to entertain you in these trying times. Sincerely, Teresita Blanco the Artsy Sister Thank You Very Much!!

gardening, photo, sunflowers -

It has been a bit of a long time ago since I posted some new floral or bug photos. One of the photos I took was out of focus, which sucks. Still. Yesterday, I was in a particular bored type of mood. For that reason, I took some photos of my BJD doll Bebe. She was made by Rosenlied. The clothing she is wearing belongs to my taller doll Elvira. I ordered some new clothing for Bebe. It is going to get here when it gets here type of scenario. Since the posing was a little limited around the edges, I...

A couple of weeks ago, I took some photos of my tallest doll, Elvira. I was going to take photos of the second doll. In the end, I opted to try for the third doll. Mein is different in nature to Elvira. Her body runs on strings. This technically makes her a true BJD Doll. Then again, there is some debate as to what is considered a true ball jointed doll or not. I think it is just splitting hairs. The long and short of it is that I took some photos of my doll Mein. The doll is still...

holiday, photo -

My brother last night asked me for some scratch paper. I did not know what it was for. We had run out of print paper, like eight months ago. We realized it till recently because we rarely use the printer. In any case, he spent the night making little Oragami cranes. This morning I went outside and saw some odd things hanging on the tree. It turns out to have been cranes with wishes. They are part of a Japanese holiday called Tanabata. My brother has a girlfriend who is into Japanese stuff. The story appeals to them because they...
