I recently bought 3 little dresses for my newest doll Ha Seol. I bought them from the same parent company that made the doll, Dollmore. I also got for her about 4 new wigs. The wigs and the dresses came in a timely fashion. They were all perfect fits. Puttin' on the Ritz.
She has been baptized as Odette. It is the same name as the princess from the Swan Lake.
To decide the look for the new stop motion video, I did a photoshoot. She does the dance breaks after all.
I tried different poses in different angles of the dresses and the wigs. This is the smallest of all the mini photoshoots. I decided to split the photoshoot into 3.
This will help save up on loading time. I am not a big fan of making folks like super bored. Anyhow, I hope that the new photos make you smile.
I chose this dress due to the pattern. It was also quite nice for the price. I do not have a huge budget to spend on doll stuffs.
This is why I focus more on wigs, and dresses. A wig along is enough to change the look of a pretty doll.
I could also change the eyes as well. Still, I am not a big fan of trying that. Installing new eyes is like my biggest weakness.
I tend to be very clumsy at times. Just the other day, I was opening a door and then I ended up hitting the top of my hand.
I have like no idea how it happened. On that same day, I opened the cooler. I went to change a soda from position.
This caused an ice cream box to fall. As I went to keep it from falling, I ended up removing a slight piece of skin from my hand.
I found the one sharp edge in a round fridge. It is like paper cut level. Still, it stings a bit when drawing.
Later that night, I went to sit down to draw and I almost sat on the air. It was super scary.
The entire point of this tirade is to illustrate the fact that I am a bit of a clumsy person.
There are certain days where I am more accident prone. I even have a stupid sports injury to deal with as well.
I have even broke a few toes in the past. This is why now I always wear sport shoes. Gotta protect those small little digits.
When taking doll photos, I tend to have a bit of a difficult time as well. Just when I think that the doll is balanced, she falls forward and I have to make a break for the doll to keep her from falling off the table.
Odette has a steady frame, but the fact that she is on tippy toe is problematic. I have gotten better with my reflexes to keep the doll from falling.
Still, it is a tad annoying and whatnot. Not that it hampers my enjoyment. I have always found amusing playing with dolls.
It was only just a few years ago that I had room enough to revisit my hobby. Only this time, I leaned more towards BJD Dolls. I think this is enough about my nice little doll.
Aside from working on Doll Theater, I have been making progress in my vampire book. It has about 50,000 words. I think I am going to slowly work my way towards the ending.
It is going to be a standalone type of book. Depending on how it goes, I might do a sequel to it in a couple of years. I have a number of action set pieces already written.
I know that folks like pointless action. Aside from this book, I am already mentally brainstorming a different book.
Aside from my writing projects, I have already started making the next Scary Cat book. In this one, Pipa is going to be dealing with a Scary Birthday Clown.
The front cover looks really silly. I am going to be doing a bit of a red aesthetic to the book.
I will be using a lot of reds, pinks and golds. Well, this is about it as far as my nonsense is concerned. This is Teresita Blanco, the Artsy Sister. Bye, Bye, and God Bless.
