You know you got to the Fountain of Youth if you see a forest filled with Peacocks. Well, at least it used to be a forest before Ponce de Leon go through with it. At least the peacocks still remained. He came to the Americas looking for the Fountain of Youth. He instead found Florida and Cuba. Regardless, this area is a bit of a Museum. It supposedly has the famous fountain. It also has a nice Planetarium.

I would have liked to wander about the place a lot, but we were in a strict timeline. The most interesting thing I saw was this Albino peacock. I waited for like an hour for him to open his tail feathers. He never did. Here is the best photo I took of the silly bird. All the trees were filled with Peacocks. Other places in Florida have Peacock. Despite being a flightless bird, the Peacock likes high places.

They ruin plenty of shingles and roofs during their little games. Recently, I remember some douche stole a peacock from a home. No one has found the thief as of yet. Chicken animal sacrifices are pretty common in South Florida, though no one admits it. It has something to do with Santeria. Maybe the poor bird got stolen to be sacrificed. People have also harvested the poor birds because of its feathers, which is a pity.
