As of lately, I have been writing pretty late at night. I was going to do the same last night, but I got caught up in some nonsense. I was making a new dress for the doll with my mother. It had some issues here and there, and I was fixing it. I am going to have her take a nice photo with some new products once the rain stops.
I should just do the new markers too, when I get around to it. I bought the markers because I am going to be starting a new manga project. I am going to make a series of children books. I am in the middle of designing the characters. They are all going to look Kawaii.
The series is nothing too far out there. I hope you keep an eye out for it. It is going to be in color. I am going to draw all the pages by hand, instead of using the computer. It will give it a nice fresh look. The new manga project was the reason why I bought markers. I was practicing with them first, before getting around to using them. Florida is somewhat opened.
It doesn’t matter too much because of the rains. We had to stay at home, anyway. We could not even enter the pool. I bought some new fertilizers for the plants. It also repels bugs. The bugs were staring to appear again on the plants. I needed to nib it in the bud.
Last time there was a pest infestation we had to get rid of 3 plants. Gardening is a bit trying, but rewarding when done right. The sunflowers are coming in nicely. I was able to plant some second generation seeds. There is not an absence of pollinators in my garden.
We have of all types, including the ever unpopular mosquito. I suppose I should talk of my new drawing. It features a maiden playing a flute like instrument called Ken Bau. The instrument is typical of Vietnam and it uses double reeds. In the past if was mainly used for court music.
The instrument is still being used to today by people descendant of court musicians. The drawing was made using Stabilo pens and Derwent coloring pencils. The paper was Leda Art supplies. I hope you find this little drawing of mine amusing.
On a side note, there was like a Tornado warning in Florida. It told us to seek shelter. Where exactly are we supposed to hide in case of a Floridian Tornado? It is just food for thought for me. Well, I suppose I just have to keep hoping and hopping nothing bad happens.
