BJD Wizard of Oz Halloween Photoshoot

Last year, I did a horror themed bjd doll photoshoot.
This year I did a Wizard of Oz themed photoshoot.
My Dollmore Ballerina Odette is Dorothy.
She is Sporting a blue ballerina dress. The print closely matches the look of Dorothy.
The Dorothy in the book was blonde. So, that checks out.
The cowardly Lion is played by my Dearmine bjd doll Inanis.
She was upgraded from cat to Lion.
The Tinman is played by my Dollmore Vampire Doll Candice.
In addition to needing a heart, this vampire Tinman needs your blood.
The Scarecrow is being played by my Doll Chateau Faun.
The horns are magnetic. So, I can just remove them.
With her brown hair, she makes quite the lovely looking Scarecrow.
All I am missing now is Toto. I will probably just use a LOL Surprise dog.
I do not have a bjd doll mutt. The costume of the dolls were all made by Dollmore. I got them over the course of months.
I was waiting for the dresses to be on special. I do not like spending too much on BJD Dresses.
I also do not like having my dolls sporting the same outfits all the time. I am always brainstorming new types of photoshoots.
I am just happy to have been able to feature most of the main cast of the Wizard of Oz.
I also did a video of my dollies. You can see them in Tiktok and Youtube. I do not have a yellow brick road.
I do have a scarf that has plenty of yellow butterflies. So, it will have to do for now.
I did standing, sitting, portrait and lying down photos.
It has been a while since I did a photoshoot with a lot of bjd dolls.
Such photoshoots are high effort. It is difficult to keep a lot of dolls standing.
One wrong move, and all the dolls fall like dominoes.
So, there was a lot of time and planning in the group photographs.
This is not a concern in the sitting photos.
Just the standing ones. I think the dollies ended up looking rather nice.
I had a lot of fun making this photoshoot.
When I was small, I used to love going trick o treating.
Now that I am adult, I am scared to go out at night and beg for candy.
The world gets a lot darker when you become aware of the dangers.
Well, I do not want to bum you out.
