It seemed like a good a time as any to rant about the last vacation I took. It has been more than six months since I went to anywhere that was interesting.

It is fun to look through the photos. These are some new ones that I haven’t shown you. I have already ranted enough about Xcaret.

So, there really isn’t much to say about the place. I can talk about the weather. It was superhot.

It was to be expected since we went there in the middle of the summer. Even with the trees, I could feel my brain melting. I get a heat stroke just thinking about it.

It is a good thing that there are some many rivers around the place. You can just take a quick dunking before continuing on your way.

I remember that there were more fishes in the river. I suppose the locals ate them. Perhaps, they were not in style due to the weather.

They were probably boiled alive by the heat. My brother saw a bunch of cool mantas. He recorded a video about it and everything. You can check it out in my Artsy Sister Youtube channel.

I would have gone down there myself. However, I am afraid of big fishes. I also panic in underwater situations.

It was best just to stay out of that mess. Sigh…what a day. I am feeling a little cold at the moment. Against all odds, winter somehow has made it to the Sunshine state.

This has stalled the growth of my Papaya fruits. This is more the pity. Still, what can you do? I think I ranted enough for one day.

Here you can see a bunch of photos of random things I saw in Xcaret. I hope that you find them amusing. My name is Teresita Blanco, the Artsy Sister. Bye, bye and God bless.
