Today, I went down to Home Depot to get more plants. It is like the only place for miles to get decent plants for your garden.
So, for geographical convenience I go there. Also, lately, I have aversion to visiting new places.
Enough crazy talk, the entire point of this short rant was to show you the things I bought there. I also did a little bit of window shopping for flowers.
I like looking at the flowers, but I am terrible at taking care of them. I have a better hand with the vegetables.
Slowly, I am getting better at that nonsense. It is just something to do to pass the time as all. It is not as if I have anything better to do.
Anyhow, I made like two videos while I was there. I thought folks would find them amusing, or something. I also took a photo of the first 3 tomatoes I harvested.
They went into making a nice Pico de Gallo. Making a Pico de Gallo is like super easy. If I have not mentioned yet, I am going to tell you the recipe.
You slice as many tomatoes as you plan on eating. You then add 10 percent of white or purple onions.
Just put enough to give it a bit of that onion crunchy flavor. You then add a bit of Cilantro leaves to the mix.
Lastly, you add yellow lemon to the mix. You add enough to cover the tomatoes, or as you like. It usually keeps for about a week or two.
Anyhow, I hope you find these two photos I took and the videos amusing. Bye, Bye, and God bless.
