Today was my brother’s birthdate. We went to Bonsai to eat sushi. It has been almost four months since last we visited. Everything tasted delicious. It is just as they say, variety is the spice of life. If you eat the same thing all the time, it tends to lose its luster. As of now, I am already getting bored of Canadian Dry.
For some reason, I have become acutely aware of the ginger. Maybe this batch was truly made with ginger. It is just as all very interesting. The changes in concentration alter the flavor a lot. Then again, there might just be that there was no ginger to begin with. One can never trust those crafty Canadians.
We also tried the whole pvp thing in the Pokemon Go game. It was glitchy, up until recently. We only got it to work as of now. Most of the time, it had some weird bugs here and there. I won my first online battle. It was rather interesting. I still have not managed to win an evolution stone. Still, the space dust is a welcome addition.
You get more if you challenge different people. It is all a matter of trying to get the timing correctly. They should show you if the person is online or not. It is impossible to tell most of the time. I suppose there are some things that cannot be helped. As for the sushi, I had one made of chicken. It was interesting around the edges.
I also ate a bit of fried lobster and fried sushi. Both were rather tasty. This blog is a little later than usual because I spent the day cleaning. I am not a big fan of it. Still, the Gregors are a good motivation. The garden is still alive and well. The Mar Pacifico is sprouting new flowers. We might just save that flower yet.
I am crossing my fingers and hoping. For desert, I ate fried ice cream. The ice cream is extra cold when it is thrown in the fryer. For sauce, it had condensed milk. It was to die for. It is not well to gorge oneself on sweets. Moderation is the key my friends and we all have our little Kryptonites.
As of now, we have a really good feeling about the manga and our book projects. Like most Cubans, all we need is a chance to shine. We do not need much, just a tiny little edge. Nothing too far out there. The whole edge thing is more of a saying. As with most things it is lost in translation.
For now, we are in a bit of a quiet time. My brother is still playing his little Yugioh game. One the meantime, mother is waiting for her telenovela. The air conditioner is working dandy. Raising the thermostat helps it run better. The old owner of the house was apparently an old lady in a wheelchair.
Our house has all the ramps and the handles too. So, at least this is something that is going for us. We do not need to look far for a retirement home. The one issue with the house is the bathroom. There is only one. We need a new one, let’s we end up pooping ourselves. We could put it behind mother’s room.
She already has a door that leads to the outside. We could also give her a little walk in closet. We barely have enough closets. I am just thinking about the future as all. It is fun to have happy thoughts. As for the car, well, I thought it looked cool, so enjoy it. Here is a couple of more photos of it from different angles. I am not a driving type of person. Still, I know a cool car when I see it. This my friend looks totally amassing.
