Aside from drawing, I do plenty of writing and the like. People tend to think writing is easy. This is a common thought except in the writer's club. This brings me to this little number I am trying out. The picture on the top is a Pelican. Just a large Pelican, just marvel at it. Look at him, staring at you, burring into your soul with his hypnotic eyes. Well, by now, you must be familiar with the drill. It is just one of those things one has to do to try to get ahead in life. It is an uphill battle from here on out. It is like starting a marathon with billions of people, who have been running for decades.
It is a game that one cannot win, except if you are Google. It is the rat race of the internet. Lots of people get started with websites, and they think that net neutrality will save them. The truth of the matter is that law makers are a bunch of old idiots. They are rotting corpses clawing their grips into the seat of power, passing laws like they are freaking God or something. My disdain for those in power is nothing new, if you are already familiar with my work. Anything that is touched by human hands is prone to corruption. We are rotting away even as I speak.
See! It is easy to come up with something deep and meaningful with enough practice. Everyone is always on board to critique the guys on top. It is just so easy. Blame the guys in power, blame the guns and all that garbage. People are so predictable that way. This is why I find people to be such a deep disappointment. If a psychologist was talking to me, he would say that I am just sour cause my dad died when I was little.
Lots of people lose someone dear or whatever, and then they go on with their life. The whole purpose of this rambling is that I am trying to tell you about my writing. I have written way too much stuff throughout my life. Just the blogging alone is thrice as long as most Harry Potter books. I started blogging when my brother asked me to help him with his first website. It was called the furies. It was in the webs.com. The first real type of writing I did was in high school. It started with a poem dedicated to Pluto. He was my dead dog.
He stayed in the old country, because we were not able to take it with us. He came to my house to around the time my dad died. I am not trying to depress you or anything. I do not like talking about the past. People enjoy a sob story, so here I am trying to entertain you. This is all it is. Just a pelican in an art store. So, where was I? I started with my poetry. I could write plenty of them because school was so easy. I could finish with my tasks in 10 minutes and I never studied.
I ended up with good grades, which I kept throughout University. Around University, I started writing my first novel. I got a little too carried away with it, and now, I still need like 6 books to complete it. It is a mess, but at least a humoring mess. I worked under one basic rule. If I found my own novel boring, then I was doing something wrong. People tend to focus on writing good novels, instead of interesting novels. Novels don't have to be boring to be good. In my experience, boring is terrible. Well, now I am out of steam, see you later.
