I wanted to rants about some of my favorite musicals. I also did a video blog about them. You can check them out in my ArtSy sister youtube channel. Please give a like and subscribe.

The first movie worth mentioning is Gentlemen Prefer them Blonde. Mayrlin Monroe has a cool dance number about why she likes men who give her diamonds. She is at her cutest in this movie.

Grease is a timeless classic, even though all the teenagers are played by actors over 40. Labyrinth is another fun movie. The only person that sings is David Bowie and his army of demon Muppets.

It has its ups and down, but it is overall a fun movie. RRR is musical that goes HAM with everything it does, but in a good way. It is a pity that it only won an Oscar for the silly dance.

Sister Act I first saw in school. The teacher wasn’t in the mood to do much. So, I saw that movie. It was fun. Sweeny Todd has some great singing, but the plot makes no sense at all.

How is he going to become a famous Barber if he kills all his client. The Phantom of the Opera is my favorite book. The movie is also fun around the edges. My only regret is that we didn’t see the grasshopper and the pendulum.

The Producers is a fun musical comedy. The kill bill actress is fun in this film, but her singing is a bit meh. She at least looks cute in her dress and she dances well. So, that works just fine. White Christmas is a fun musical.

I like the final musical number a lot. The last musical worth mentioning is Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. This is another film I saw in school. I liked how it rendered the food, and the practical effects. Well, I ranted enough for one day. I hope you like.
