It had been a while since I posted any ink art. The paintings are already done, but I wanted to wait for the videos of to be online.
If you want to see how I made both artworks, you can visit my Artsy Sister Youtube and Tiktok.

I used two round papers to make these ink arts. All the supplies were provided by Pixiss.
I take two photographs of my paintings. I want to have a wet version and a dry version of the painting.

I also photographed a few of the painting details. This provides me with variations of the final product.
I can even make a nice series of posters out of them. I am getting ahead of myself.

The first painting has my Artsy Sister Initials. I started with a combination of purple and orange dots.
Both colors are complimentary. To write the letters, I used black ink.

I added a bit of alcohol in the mix in order to help the letters blend to the surroundings.
This was my first-time attempting Calligraphy ink art.

I think it ended up looking rather decent.
The important thing is never to limit oneself. Do not be afraid to try new things.

My second painting is inspired on Barbie. I recreated the Barbie B using ink.
I am pretty proud of my second artwork. I think it ended up looking pretty cool.

The first thing I did was jot down the Blues.

Once I had the blue background already down, I was able to focus on the pink.

It was difficult to get that nice Barbie pink color.

I had to add magenta and white ink together, until I got the Barbie pink color I was looking for.

I blended the colors on the paper.
If I wanted them to mix better, I would add a bit of rubbing alcohol.

At the end, I added with nice cursive the letter B.
I think it was an interesting effort. The dry version ended up developing some interesting golden sheens in the middle of the letter B.

This is the reason why I always take two photographs of my paintings.
The final version doesn’t always resemble the wet version of the painting.

In any case, I think I ranted enough about my Artwork.

My name is Teresita Blanco, the Artsy Sister. Bye, bye and God bless.
