About a week ago, I got my new bjd doll Ashley. I call her Ash for short.
Anyhow, for some reason, all the photos I take of her come out rather creepy.
It was the weekend and I was not feeling like doing anything particular. There was a mini hurricane too.
There was plenty of wind and rain, but nothing too far out there.
Frankly, I have seen lightning storms that were stronger than this hurricane.
The bad weather was at least useful for keeping most people indoor. This helped reduce the plague problem a little bit.
Only one person died during the Hurricane. The reason for it was because of Jaws.
A surfer dude was eaten by a Bull Shark.
He went there for the surfs, and he got himself ate.
It reminds me a bit of the movie Jaws. In Florida, the Jaws problem is times a million.
Just think about it. There is a plague, sharks and a hurricane, and the beaches are still open. They should make a movie about it.
Speaking of movies, we saw a bit over the top a shark movie. It was Deep Blue Sea 3. It was passable at best. We got bored after a while.
We have already caught up with the telenovela we were watching.
Now we have to wait for new episodes to appear.
We tried seeing a different Turkish telenovela, but the over acting got a little too Rosa de Guadalupe for our taste.
If you want to see overacting, check out that telenovela. I think you can see it on Netflix or something.
Since I was like super bored of the movies, I tried taking some photos of my new doll. I need to get a doll stand for her.
She cannot stand much due to her skinny legs. Still, she does pose well.
The elastic strings in her joints sometimes causes her to move on her own.
While posing the doll, she gave me a nasty scratch. Ashley tends to move on her own a lot. I blame it on the strings.
The blonde one Mein also moves from time to time. For these photos, I wanted to focus on the doll hands. The fingers can move somewhat.
I painted them to give the well defined nails a little bit of color. I think they came out pretty neat. I used markers.
Around the end, I tried to do some fashion sitting poses.
As for the hand gestures, I tried a couple of different ones here and there.
I could not make a fist, but I was able to make other Italian gestures.
I started with the nonsense pretty late.
For that reason, I was not able to take a lot of photos.
I removed a couple too that did not look too inspiring.
I think when I get enough photos I will make a coffee table book with the best photos.
It is all fun and games as all. Speaking of books, I am up to the final book of my fantasy series.
There is a lot of back catalogue as far as new publications.
The book publishing thing is all a work in progress as all.
The books are done. Getting them out there into the world is what takes time. I think this is about it as far as my nonsense goes.
I am thinking of getting mother a new nice present for her birthday. It is all a work in progress around the edges. I think this is about it. I hope you are staying safe, at home.
