Today, I felt like doing a new bjd doll photoshoot. It features my ringdoll in a cute pink uniform.
This uniform is common among Japanese Pre-school children.
It was a little bit difficult for me to dress the doll.
Her little hands just refused to pass through the small sleeves.
In the end, I succeeded in dressing the doll.
The shoes also posed similar difficulties, but they were a perfect fit, nonetheless.
With the doll dressed for school, all that was left was for me to prepare the scenery.
The small bjd doll photoshoots heavily rely on props.
Since she is such a small doll, I have access to cheaper, smaller props.
This gives me a bigger freedom to set up the scenery.
For support dolls, I used nesting dolls and Lol surprise dolls.
They are just there in order to make the classroom look full.
I used my biggest nesting doll to act as the teacher.
Every so often, I changed the classroom elements. I showcased two classes and two snack breaks.
It is always important to snack. I think I should have also included sleepy time, but I forgot that was a thing.
Back in the old country, my school didn’t include nap time as part of the classroom routine.
If you sat in the back, all the time was nap time.
All in all, I do not like ranting too much about my time it school.
It was a bit of a pain. Still, that doesn’t stop me from making cute school themed bjd doll photoshoots.
The main background was made with acrylics, glitter and paper.
I collaged the paintings in the background.
They are all little pieces of paper that I arranged in a checkerboard pattern.
This small set is perfect for a bunch of different types of scenarios.
One day, I can use it as a kitchen. I another photoshoot it can act like a classroom.
Aside from the photoshoot, I also did a little short video.
It is mostly panoramic views of the doll with the entire set. I hope you find it amusing.
The video is in both Tiktok and Youtube, but the photoshoot is going to be up and about first.
I think I ranted enough about my school themed photoshoot.
