I did a new bjd doll photoshoot. I only got around to posting it just now.
I was trying to get the pouring paintings out of the way early.
I wanted to have some pouring paints made in time for fourth of July.
I could have done them sooner, but I do not like working too hard on the weekends.
So, I got them done today. This is enough with my pouring paints.
Now, I am going to talk about my newest bjd doll photoshoot.
The bjd doll was made by Dollmore.
She is the White Swan model. She has a nice study body ideal for ballet poses.
The outfit, wig and shoes also come from the same maker.
In this photoshoot, I tried to mimic a bunch of ballet poses.
I couldn’t decide if I wanted to take the photos in color or in black and white.
So, I did a little bit of both. I kept alternating between both formats.
The first half of the photoshoot features the doll with the jacket on.
The second half features her with the jacket off.
I also took two photographs showing this transition.
I think overall it was an interesting effort.
This time I used the mirror prop on the floor.
I used two heavy objects to help anchor the doll.
The background wasn’t that important.
I wanted the audience to focus on her ballet poses.
Most of the photos I took are standing poses.
I did a few sittings down ones and crouching.
I worked really hard on this bjd doll photoshoot.
I hope you can appreciate the effort that went behind it.
As of lately, I have been making solo bjd doll photoshoots.
It makes it easy for me to work with one doll at a time.
I might do a bigger bjd doll photoshoot for the Xmas season, but I am getting ahead of myself.
For the time being, I am just waiting to pass the time.
It keeps raining cats and dogs, but I feel optimistic.
I think I ranted enough about my dolls for one day.
My name is Teresita Blanco, the Artsy Sister.
Bye, bye and God bless.
