This is the bjd doll photoshoot of the week.
It features my Ashley in a cute white dress.
It is always a bit of a bother to dress my skinny Doll Chateau dolls.
They have a unique anatomy. This means that not a lot of outfits are made for these dolls in specific.
It is difficult to find online a dress maker that specializes in Doll Chateau dolls.
There was this one person that used to be on Etsy. Sadly, she went the way of the dinosaur.
I do not know if she died or not. She might have gotten a day job.
My one regret is that I didn’t buy enough Doll Chateau dresses when I had the chance.
She used to make some quality work, too. I suppose there are some things that cannot be helped.
The outfit that my doll is using in this photoshoot is not a good fit.
I needed to use a ribbon to make it work. It looks fine.
You just have to look really close to notice the problem.
The wig goes along well with her shoes.
These are the only colors in the photograph.
I think I am going to go for a monochromatic look.
The doll itself is dressed in black and white.
There really isn’t that much color in the doll.
So, it is a good excuse as any to take monochromatic photos.
I suppose I could also do sepia. Sepia is softer on the eyes.
I just like the honeyed feel about it.
I still haven’t decided yet, what I am going to do.
I have gotten into the habit of writing the blog, before doing the photoshoot.
This just saves me time during the execution process.
I have to upload the photos one by one into the blog.
Needless to say, this process is time consuming.
This is part of the reason why I do not do a daily bjd doll photoshoot.
It all just takes forever to upload.
Next week, I am going to do the Halloween bjd doll photoshoot.
So, look forward to it.
I didn’t do anything too spooky.
I could tell you more about it, but I do not want to spoil the surprise.
In any case, I ranted enough about bjd dolls for one day.
My name is Teresita Blanco, the Artsy Sister.
Bye, bye and God bless.
