Today, I got around to making a new photoshoot of my doll bjd Odette. The bjd doll, the outfit, and most of the wigs were made by Dollmore.
My little Doll Chateau goat doll has a wig that fits my Odette. The short silver hair wig is the one made by Doll Chateau.
To keep this photoshoot nice and varied, I took 6 photos featuring different wigs. I first took two full body photos.
I then took two photos of the doll sitting down, and lastly, I took portrait photos of the dolly.
I went for a bit of an artistic flare for the background elements. The doll is a ballerina after all.
The floor carpet is actually a dress of mine. Since I do not get out of the house much, I now use the outfits as props for my doll photographs.
The world before 2019 seems like a far away dream. Don’t you just hate it when the world changes for the worst?
I am trying to abstract myself. Playing with dolls is quite the cathartic experience.
It is the best way to unplug your brain. I have been thinking of getting some new project boards.
I want to paint different types of backgrounds. I will get around it, when I get around it.
The new couch prop works pretty well. I have gotten a lot of usage from it. I need to get around to getting some new sitting props.
Everything is a work in progress. Something that is no longer a work in progress is the Sacred Mask 4.
I finally got around to completing the fantasy book. The Kindle version is already up and about. The physical book is going to get done real soon.
So, you can have fun reading through my new book. I am going to put the Sacred Mask Series on ice.
I wanted to write something a little shorter and different. The fatter the book the longer it takes me to finish.
It is too late to change up the Sacred Mask formats. For that series, I am already married to the fat book format.
I think I am going to try to write a normal looking book. It will not have fantasy elements, or even vampires. It will probably take place in Florida.
I am familiar with this State. As far as the real world, I do not want to have a setting that I am not familiar with.
Setting the book outside of Miami takes research and traveling, and I do not want to get out of the house.
There is nothing for me out there in the world.
I am also juggling in the back of my head a different book project.
It will take place in Cuba at the start of the century.
While I come up with my books, I am going to be working in the Mangas and in the Children books.
I have a Scary Cat volume I need to finish.
While I am not working on my projects, I have been playing Horizon 2.
It keeps me amused. At the most, I only play a few hours a day.
The problem is that the Focus has me squinting my eyes all the time.
I am always looking for a purple triangle that marks a treasure over the horizon.
After a while, my eyes start hurting, so then I need to go do something else with my time.
I probably need glasses.
Well, this is about it as far as my ramblings are concerned.
This photoshoot has a second half that focuses on long hair wigs.
I have a lot of doll wigs for my mid-level dolls.
It makes it easier to get outfits for the dolls.
