Today, I got around to making a new bjd doll photoshoot.
After looking at all my dolls, I decided to use my guy doll.
It had been a while since I had photographed this cutie.
So, it was a good a time as any for him to make an appearance in Doll Theater.
Doll Theater is what I used to call my stop motion bits. Doing stop motion takes too long.
I prefer to do bjd doll photoshoots. You can still check out my stop motion work in my Youtube Channel Artsy Sister.
They are some of the oldest content in the BJD Doll playlist.
It is all quite creative to say the least. I also do the voices.
So, it is good for a lot of giggles. I think I talked enough about my past work.
Let us just focus on the current bjd doll photoshoot.
My guy doll is about 72 centimeters. He is a bit of a heavy boy.
It is difficult to get him to stand up. His limbs hold a pose steady.
The problem is that the slightest breeze is enough to cause him to lose his balance.
It is for this reason that getting a proper footing for him is important.
In total, I took 30 something photographs.
I did standing, sitting and portrait photographs.
I used my sword stand as a background prop.
The swords are quite heavy. So, they are a perfect prop to help my bjd doll guy maintain his balance while standing up.
I usually slim down the photographs after I take them.
The photos are never wider or taller than the doll. I do that in order to make the photographs cellphone friendly.
Plus, there is a lot of dead space in the background.
I only bother to show more background, when it is important to the plot of the photoshoot.
If it doesn’t add anything to the narrative, then I just do without it.
I ended using the white pants for this photoshoot. It is so difficult to find outfits that fit my guy bjd doll.
It is even harder to find outfits that are within my spending limit. I am not going to bore you with my financial woes.
You came here to see a cool looking bjd doll. This is what you are going to get.
I recently got him two new shirts. I am going to see how those outfits look on him.
With any luck, I am going to be able to expand his wardrobe.
In any case, I think I ranted enough for one day.
My name is Teresita Blanco, the Artsy Sister. Bye, bye and God bless.
