It had been a while since I photographed Elvira. She is the first bjd doll I ever got.
She is still as pretty as ever. This doll is about seven years old.
It is incredible to think how I got started in this bjd doll journey.
I got interested in bjd dolls thanks to Bloodborne. I wanted an articulated doll just like the one from the game.
After window shopping, I got Elvira. She was a little cheap, but within my budget.
Slowly, I started increasing my doll expenses. These days I am more selective with what new bjd doll I add to my collection.
I am running out of space for them. It is better to just get new outfits for the dolls.
If you change the outfit, the eyes and the wig the doll looks different.
My oldest doll has a lot of dresses. Most of her looks you have seen before.
These days she sometimes shares outfits with my guy doll.
Some of his shirts fit her just fine. Though for her, they act like dresses.
She is indeed quite the lovely bjd doll. She poses quite well.
I have a couple of wigs for her. Still, I think the curly hair looks on her the best.
So, this is why she is sporting this wig as of lately.
I did your standard standing, sitting and lying down poses.
The background is also a new element.
It took me two days to paint it. I think it ended up looking rather decent.
It is interesting, without stealing attention from the doll.
I still have another project board left to paint.
I will get around to it, when I get around to it.
I hope you find it amusing. I also did a video of my doll in various cute poses.
Just enough to fit a little short. This is ideal for folks that prefer videos over photoshoots.
You can find it in my Artsy Sister channels.
I think I ranted enough about my dolls for one day.
Happy New Year, everybody.
I have a pre-ordered in the near future.
I just can’t wait until the new doll arrives.
My name is Teresita Blanco, the Artsy Sister. Bye, bye and God bless.
